Protection and improvement of vision: ophthalmic services of the Polyclinic Standard
At Polyclinic Standard, our Ophthalmology Department conducts detailed examination of the eyes and related organs to diagnose and treat vision problems. The examination process begins with a conversation between the patient and our specialist ophthalmologist, with the patient explaining his vision problems, and doctor asking relevant questions to gather as much information as possible. After that, the ophthalmologist conducts a physical examination using specialized instruments to assess visual acuity and the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, including the eyelids, cornea, pupil, iris, lens, eye ventricles and fundus. Based on the results, our team may recommend glasses, further testing or treatment options for different eye conditions.
